Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of API Mapper, a commercial extension for YOOtheme Pro developed and distributed by getimo (Thomas Venugopal). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using API Mapper, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not purchase or use API Mapper.

1. Product Description

API Mapper is a software extension for YOOtheme Pro that enables integration of REST APIs into websites built with WordPress or Joomla. The extension allows users to connect external data sources, map API responses to YOOtheme Pro sources, and display dynamic content without coding. API Mapper requires an active YOOtheme Pro installation to function.

2. License Types and Plans

API Mapper is available in multiple license tiers, from a free version to paid plans with additional features. For current pricing and detailed feature comparisons, please visit our Pricing page.

Key Differences Between Plans

• Free Plan: Limited API connections and fields, single platform support
• Lite Plan: Increased limits, multi-item support for lists and grids
• Pro Plan: Unlimited connections and fields, JMESPath data transformation, OAuth 2.0 authentication
• Developer Plan: All Pro features plus dual-platform support (WordPress AND Joomla), increased site activations, agency license for client projects

3. License Grant and Restrictions

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use API Mapper according to your purchased plan. You may:

• Install and use API Mapper on the number of sites specified by your license tier
• Use API Mapper for personal or commercial projects
• Create websites for clients (Developer Plan)

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense API Mapper
• Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works
• Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding
• Share your license key with third parties
• Use API Mapper on more sites than your license permits

4. Site Activations

Each paid license includes a specific number of site activations as shown in your license tier. A site activation is consumed when API Mapper is activated on a unique domain. Development and staging environments on subdomains (e.g., dev.example.com, staging.example.com) do not count against your activation limit. You may deactivate a site to free up an activation for use on another domain.

5. Platform Support

• Free, Lite, and Pro Plans: Single platform license (WordPress OR Joomla, chosen at purchase)
• Developer Plan: Dual platform license (WordPress AND Joomla)

You may not use a single-platform license on a different CMS than specified at purchase.

6. License Expiration and Renewal

When your paid license expires:

• API Mapper continues to work - Your installed extension remains fully functional
• Automatic downgrade to Free tier - Your license automatically converts to the Free plan with its associated feature limits
• No uninstallation required - You are not required to remove or uninstall API Mapper

To restore full functionality of your original plan, you may renew your license at any time. Renewal restores access to premium features, updates, and support according to your plan level.

7. Updates and Support

Your active license includes:

• Access to all updates released during your license period
• Support according to your plan level (Community, Email, or Priority)
• Access to documentation and the Knowledge Base

Support is limited to assistance with API Mapper functionality. We do not provide support for:

• Third-party API configuration or authentication issues
• General WordPress, Joomla, or YOOtheme Pro questions
• Custom development or modifications
• Issues caused by conflicts with other plugins or extensions

8. Payment and Pricing

Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy. All prices are displayed in EUR and may be subject to VAT depending on your location. By purchasing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. Current pricing is available on our Pricing page.

License fees are:

• One-time payment for annual licenses
• Access to updates and support for the license period
• Renewal available for continued updates after license expiration

9. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. To request a refund:

• Contact us at support@wootsup.com within 14 days of purchase
• Provide your order number and reason for refund

Refunds are not available:

• After 14 days from purchase
• If your license has been suspended for violations
• For license renewals (only first-time purchases)

10. Warranty Disclaimer

API Mapper is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The software will meet your specific requirements
• The software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any errors will be corrected
• The software will be compatible with all APIs or systems

You acknowledge that REST APIs are third-party services outside our control, and we are not responsible for API availability, data accuracy, or changes to API specifications.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, getimo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of API Mapper, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Business interruption
• Cost of substitute services
• Any damages resulting from third-party API failures or changes

Our total liability for any claims related to API Mapper shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless getimo from any third-party claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of API Mapper
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you transmit through API connections

13. Termination

Your license may be terminated:

• By you at any time by discontinuing use
• By us if you violate these terms
• By us if you engage in fraudulent activity
• By us if required by law

Upon termination for violation, your license is revoked and you lose access to premium features. As with license expiration, your installation may continue to function at the Free tier level unless specifically disabled.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated date. Your continued use of API Mapper after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. For material changes, we will notify existing customers via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stuttgart, Germany. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.

For business customers (B2B), disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration. Consumer rights under EU law remain unaffected.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and getimo regarding API Mapper.
